TutorBook Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to your use of TutorBook, a mobile app for private tuition teachers in India that acts as a digital register for students, attendance, exam marks, and monthly fees, and that helps teachers send updates to students' parents. TutorBook is operated by Manmeet Sethi as an individual developer.

Use of the App

You are responsible for the accuracy of the tuition, student, parent phone number, fee, attendance, and marks information you enter.
You confirm you have a legitimate basis to store and message the parent/guardian phone numbers you enter, and you are responsible for how you contact them.
You must not use the app for unlawful, misleading, harassing, infringing, or abusive content or messaging.
You must not share your account in a way that exposes your students' or their parents' personal data to people who should not have it.

Subscriptions and Pricing

TutorBook may offer a paid subscription to unlock full access. The intended plans are ₹500 per month or ₹3,000 per year. Subscription checkout and payment collection are handled by Razorpay, and access may depend on successful payment authorization and server-side verification. Prices, plans, and features may change; any change applies to future billing periods.

For the current release the paywall may be turned off and the app usable without payment. When paid subscriptions are enabled, these subscription terms apply.

Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Refunds are handled as described in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Messaging Parents

Absence and exam-result messages are delivered through a third-party WhatsApp business provider (MSG91) to the parent numbers you select, and fee reminders are opened in your own WhatsApp for you to send. TutorBook does not guarantee delivery of any message and is not responsible for the content you choose to send or for the accuracy of the numbers you enter.

Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app, including pricing, features, and supported providers. We try to keep the app reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TutorBook is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost data caused by device or third-party failures, or the consequences of messages you choose to send to parents.
